Are samples available?Yes, samples of all our products are available and we encourage the use of them, especially when ordering a product for the first time. Samples are provided annealed unless specifically requested otherwise. There is a nominal charge for samples if not one of our standard sizes, usually 12” X 12”, and of special ordered materials. The cost of the sample will be deducted when you place an order.

How long will I have to wait to receive my order?We try to maintain a lead time of no longer than 4 -6 weeks. However, some products have to be specially ordered or may require several fabrication processes that could increase the lead time. We’ll let you know lead time when you place your order.

How do I place an order?All orders must be submitted in writing. Orders placed via telephone are not accepted. Once you’ve placed an order you will receive an order confirmation. We will ask you to carefully review your order for accuracy and return the confirmation with your signature. If you do not have an established account, we will advise you of the payment terms upon receipt of your signed order confirmation.

What is your warranty for insulated glass units?Our warranty is displayed on our website and we encourage you to read it. Typically, our insulated units carry a 10-year warranty against seal failure. To learn more, visit our Warranty page.

How can I pay for my order?We accept Master Charge, Visa, American Express & Discover for a 3% fee. If you’d like to wire or ACH payment, we will be happy to provide you with the necessary information. Of course, you can always send in a check.

How many types of Low-E coatings do you provide?There are many types of Low-E coatings available and we stock or have access to most of them. There are different Low-E coatings for different applications that vary with building location and orientation. Upon request, we will provide a Performance calculator that will demonstrate how well a particular Low-E coating will perform on your project.

What sizes and color spacer & muntin bars do you carry?Tower has one of the largest selections of spacer & muntin bar sizes and colors in the United States. We also custom make muntin bars in practically any shape or color required.

What is a “sight-line”?The sight line is the area around the perimeter of an insulated unit where the spacers, sealants, and desiccant are found. This is where two or more lites of glass are hermetically sealed together. Tower’s standard sight-line dimension is 7/16” and can be made as narrow as 5/16” depending on size and other factors. Sight-lines can also be made larger at additional cost.
